Justin Trudeau’s Liberals Approve Bill Allowing Doctors to Kill Mentally Ill Canadians
(LIfesite News) The Canadian government sent a strong message last night to people struggling with mental illness regarding what it thinks about their overall value and worth when it voted to approve a bill that allows such people to legally choose suicide by lethal injection as a final solution to their problems.
Bill C-7 passed in the House of Commons by a vote of 180-149 along party lines, with the majority of Liberal and Bloc Quebecois MPs supporting it while Conservatives, NDP, and two of three Green MPs opposed it.
The bill was crafted in response to a 2019 Quebec Superior Court ruling which struck down as unconstitutional restrictions in federal law that limited doctor-assisted suicide, or what is called Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), to those whose natural death was “reasonably foreseeable.” An estimated 20,000 Canadians have opted to have themselves killed since assisted suicide was first legalized in 2016.
Bill C-7 seeks to expand euthanasia in a few ways, one of which was by removing the requirement that a person’s “natural death be reasonably foreseeable,” thus opening the door to allowing people who are not terminally ill to choose to die by assisted suicide. I predict the next step after this passes (if it passes) is to say that the mentally ill, like the very old, very young, and disabled, are cognitively unable to make this decision. Any family member or government approved “medical ethicist” will be allowed to sign death warrants. As the years pass this will increasingly just be a rubber stamp; a government approved genocide of anyone a kangaroo court deems mentally ill. Like, say, conservative Christians. It would certainly put some modern real-world weight behind Matt 10:21 “…children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.”
Everyone thought Hitler (rightfully so) was a madman for his genocide of the Jews. 80 years later, look where we are…heading down the same road. This is how that path starts to form with this type of thinking…governments deciding who is disposable. That’s exactly how Hitler began. He even started his experiments on the gas chambers on the mentally and physically disabled before moving onto the Jews.
Dr. Josef Mengele, if he were able, would be smiling any at his progeny. You know a lot of folks on the left can’t say this, but they are really big fans of Hitler and the Nazis since the foundation of his beliefs were Darwinian evolution which led to eugenics.
Justin Trudeau is the next Adolf Hitler.
