Conrad Mbewe Announces His Son, 32, Has Passed Away
Conrad Mwebe is the Pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church and Founding Chancellor of the African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia. And author who has spent decades preaching all throughout Africa and the world, he is best known in the West as a frequent speaker at John MacArthur’s Shepherds Conferences.
Yesterday morning, he made the heartbreaking announcement that his son, 32-year-old Mwansa, passed away after what seems to be a sudden illness.
This is unbearable news that no parent should have to reveal. The one consolation in all this is, as he shared, “All who knew him can testify that he exemplified the words of the apostle Paul: “For to me, to live is Christ.”
May the Lord be with Conrad, his wife Felistas, their five other children, and their entire extended family.
