Creation Museum Begins Construction Work on Next Project: A Massive 1st Century Model of Jerusalem

Answers in Genesis’ Ken Ham has revealed that construction for the Ark Encounter’s newest upcoming attraction is well underway, with workers laying the foundation of the building that will house a meticulously researched, incredibly accurate, massive 1st Century model of Jerusalem. Once the $20M project is completed, it will prove to be one of the largest models in the world.

According to the promo material, the model will cover around 2,000sqf and “will give vital background in understanding who Jesus is, the historical accuracy of the Bible, and the importance of the gospel and the great commission.”

Once complete, the next major attraction will be a Tower of Babel, which will “teach on the dispersion from Noah’s three sons and powerfully dealing with racism from a biblical perspective.”

  1. I was wondering if they would ever build out the rest of the Ark Encounter that they had initially dreamed. Good to see them moving forward on the next phase. I thought they had given up.
