Christian Leader who Led Viral Worship on Plane Responds to Backlash

The Christian leader who performed a bit of worship music on a plane in a now-viral video that has been seen by over 30 million people has responded to some of the criticism sent his way by pagan and professing Christian alike, adding context to the short clip while explaining he had the go-ahead and permission from the pilot and crew to do so.

After Jack Jensz Jr, a Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry alum and head of Kingdom Realm Ministries shared the video, he was criticized from commentators ranging from Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar to the Church of Satan to our favorite trauma counselor Kyle J. Howard, who was beside himself over what took place.

Howard’s negative Nacy-isms aside, Jensz Jr. explained on social media that the people on the plane were grateful for what they were doing, after it was explained to them, and allowed them a few minutes to sing a song.

We were on a flight with our team coming back from helping the Ukrainian Refugees at the Ukrainian border. Over the last month we have been giving humanitarian aid, food and praying with the beautiful people of Ukraine.

We were filled with thanksgiving of what God did in our time there. Our heart was to bring joy and hope as there is so much pain with what’s going on in this world.

We went up to the air host and shared with her what we were doing in Ukraine and asked if it’s ok if we sing 1 song to bring hope and joy to this flight. There were many Ukrainians on this flight.

She was happy and said this would be great! She then asked the pilot, the pilot and all the air hosts were 100% in agreement (If they said no, We would of honored that!). They even made an announcement to all passengers letting them know who we are and what we did in Ukraine and introduced us and allowed us to get the guitar out!

People then clapped and welcomed us. We then got up and sang the song “How great is our God”. We were up for 3-4 minutes. People were filming and smiling. People were truly touched by what we were singing. Once we were done everyone clapped and thanked us and we sat back down. The Air host came over and thanked us and we received many thank you’s as people got off the plane.

We are so thankful for the full permission we received to bring joy to this flight with a song!

There is no word on whether or not this was a commercial flight, or if it was chartered. Despite Howard and other critics acting like this is the strangest behavior in the world, public prayer, singing, and displays of religious devotion on planes isn’t unheard of, with this being a relatively common occurrence on some airlines and flights in Israel or Saudia Arabia, where Israel’s national carrier El Al recently decided to implement set times for worship on its fleet and Saudi airlines have rooms on the plane used for public prayer.

  1. Ummm maybe it’s ok for Israel to have Jewish worship in their flights because of genocide and wrong to have Bible-thumping fundie worship on secular flights because it was Bible-thumping fundies who did the genociding

    1. No kiddo, the genociding was done by darwinist atheists and occultists.

The Bible-thumping fundies were the one’s storming the beaches of Normandy, giving their last full measure.

      1. Don’t pay attention to Johnny. He is sadly wrestling with Satan himself and comes here to just spew evil. Ignore him. There are some people you just have to shake off the bottom of your shoe.

        1. I’m trying to have a wider conversation about our democratic society and you are trying to shut that down like a good little nazi
