Dr. Michael Brown Threatens Legal Action Against Former Colleague Over Defamation Claims
In a dramatic escalation of a recent scandal, noted author and apologist Dr. Michael Brown has issued a cease-and-desist letter to his former friend and colleague, Ron Cantor, demanding an apology and retraction of alleged false statements involving Brown’s recent “sexual misconduct” controversy. The letter threatens further legal action if Cantor fails to comply.
Cantor has been highly critical of Brown throughout the entire saga, recently releasing a 135-page report of witness testimony seeking to document Brown’s alleged behavior, both admitted to and denied.

Cantor took to X to share details of the letter, stating Brown had previously vowed never to sue a fellow Christian, referencing 1 Corinthians 6, which discourages believers from taking each other to court. Despite this, Cantor now finds himself facing the prospect of a lawsuit from Brown.
The exact nature of the statements Michael Brown deems defamatory remains unclear, as neither Brown nor Ron Cantor responded to requests for comment or clarified the specific points of contention.
The most likely culprit, however, is found on pages 97-101 of the report. Here, it’s alleged that Brown concealed and covered up the rape of orphans in Haiti, actions that purportedly led to further sexual abuse of other children.
