G3 Ministries Apologizes For $1000 Conference Meet & Greet Tickets

G3 Ministries has apologized for offering a $977 ticket to their upcoming national conference whose main perk is meeting and greeting the plenary speakers, blaming a miscommunication with the marketing firm tasked with event pricing.
Earlier in the week, a screenshot circulated of a pricing scheme for G3’s upcoming conference, with an ‘Exclusive Meet & Greet with a Plenary Speaker’ tier option priced at nearly $1000. For comparison, general registration is $299, and late registration is $375.
Purchasers of this exclusive ticket could “enjoy a private gathering with one of our plenary speakers before the conference begins,” where, in this intimate setting, they could have “personal interaction[s], photos, and meaningful conversation.”
It also included premium seating for the “best views” of the worship and messages, along with access to the G3 Legacy Lounge. This space offers “complimentary food and beverages, comfortable seating, and an atmosphere perfect for networking and discussion with other professionals, ministry leaders, and like-minded believers.”

This is not the first time a Christian organization/ ministry has offered a premium meet & greet at their conferences. Christian commentator, Ruslan dealt with backlash from it for his conference, as did Allie Beth Stuckey, who offered an eye-watering $5000 VIP package at her ‘Share the Arrows’ event.
After receiving swift and intense backlash, G3 issued a statement about their Legacy Pass, apologizing for the error and indicating that it was the fault of a contracted vendor whose “marketing language did not reflect our intent and goals as a ministry.”
Statement on the Legacy Pass:
Our desire is to enable as many individuals as possible to attend the G3 Conference so they can be edified and encouraged by the Word of God and the fellowship of his people. To achieve this at the lowest possible cost, we contracted with a marketing firm to offer generous ministry partners an opportunity to contribute to a scholarship fund for pastors and missionaries. Unfortunately, their marketing language did not reflect our intent and goals as a ministry, and we terminated our relationship with the firm.
We sincerely apologize for what this marketing conveyed, which does not reflect our mission. We have decided to eliminate the Legacy Pass and encourage anyone who wishes to support our scholarship fund to do so through the “Pay it Forward” option on the registration page.
Our heartfelt aim remains to encourage, equip, and educate God’s people with sound biblical theology for his glory. We hope you will join us for the 2025 National Conference as we strive to fulfill this mission.

Nothing surprises me anymore with the contemporary church.
