Miraculous Red Stains on Communion Wafers Was Only Bacteria, Not Blood of Christ, Lab Tells Roman Catholic Church

A Roman Catholic Church in Indiana that sent communion wafers to a lab to be analyzed after red stains believed by some to be the blood of Christ miraculously appeared on them was disappointed to learn it was only bacteria.

Earlier this year, Roman Catholics at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Morris, IN, were in awe after some of their communion wafers began to “bleed.”

Because Catholics believe the consecrated bread is the literal, actual physical body of Jesus, it was supposed that this might be a Eucharistic miracle, prompting the Archdiocese of Indianapolis to send out the wafers to a lab for a formal inspection.

The results were not so miraculous; however, after a biochemical analysis revealed only “fungus and three different species of bacteria, all of which are commonly found on human hands,” according to a statement from the Archdiocese earlier this week.

  1. Catholic church continues their heresy and leading members to hell, but you better give over that money so your loved one can get out of the non-existing purgatory. I think it is hilarious though that what was on the fake plastic wafer (the gall that they think they can call down Jesus from Heaven multiple times whenever they want) and it was bacteria. Folks, if that doesn’t provide a real life example of the rot that is the catholic church not much else will. Hilarious!

  2. Looks like moldy mashed potatoes and gravy that’s gone absolutely toxic. Did they test the brown part? What did the papists think that part was, Jesus’ poop?
