Georgia Mother ‘Amber Nicole Thurman’ Kills Self, Twins During Botched Abortion?
Amber Nicole Thurman, a young mother from Georgia, recently made the news after Pro Publica featured her as an example of a completely senseless and preventable death as a result of women not “being able to access legal abortions and timely medical care,” arguing that her death should be the catalyst for enacting more permissive abortion laws.
In the summer of 2022, Thurman, who had a six-years-old son, found herself pregnant with twins. She decided to end their lives, using the staid and sanitary method of abortion pills to effectively drown her babies like a couple of kittens in a sack sinking into the river.
After taking the abortifacient drugs, Thurman suffered complications when her body failed to expel all the fetal tissue (baby body parts) from her, resulting in organ failure. Needing a dilation and curettage to clear her uterus, doctors delayed her surgery and she ultimately perished, marking it as “the first time an abortion-related death, officially deemed “preventable,” is coming to public light.”
Christian culturalist Samuel Sey briefly fact-checked the piece, explaining, “She didn’t die because of lack of access to abortion. She died BECAUSE of the abortion pill. The abortion pill kills babies, and sometimes it also kills the mom. She murdered her twins and died in the process.”
Alternately, access to abortion is an entrenched religious belief and dogma within progressive circles, where adherents argue that the children living and developing inside of the ladies are merely clumps of cells and tissue indistinct from their own body.
If it’s her body and her choice, and she chooses to kill her body by surgically slicing him up or massacring her in Mifepristone, one would be forgiven for supposing it may be grotesquely viewed, in some manner, as an intentional suicide from what is in fact a now notorious family annihilator.
