‘Bling Bishop’ Who was Robbed During Church Livestream Sentenced to 9 Years in Prison for Fraud, Extortion

The prosperity preacher who was robbed at gunpoint during a live-streamed service and relieved of reported $400,000 in watches, rings, and chains, and then subsequently was found guilty of wire fraud and extortion, has been sentenced to nine years in federal prison. According to reports:

U.S. District Judge Lorna G. Schofield imposed the punishment on Monday, after Whitehead was found guilty of numerous fraud and attempted extortion charges, along with lying to the FBI. Prosecutors portrayed the 45-year-old church leader as a grifter, siphoning money from his followers — and demanding money for what he claimed was influence over New York Mayor Eric Adams.

Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead founded Brooklyn-based Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries, a false church if ever there was one. His ministry was registered as a for-profit business in 2014, and the church denies the Trinity.

We last wrote about him after Blinged-Up Prosperity Preacher Robbed of $1M+ in Jewelry During Church Live Stream, after he showed off his “Prayer Closet’ Full of Designer Clothes, Shoes, Diamonds and when he grabbed a  Female Congregant and Shoved Her Off Pulpit After Interrupting Him.

His guilty conviction does not stem from his being robbed at gunpoint but rather a series of frauds he perpetrated to further this lavish lifestyle and stock his luxury goods- laden “prayer closet.”

Specifically, he “induced one of his parishioners to invest approximately $90,000 of her retirement savings with him by promising to use the money to help her buy a home.  He then spent the money on luxury goods and other personal expenses and, when she demanded to be paid back, he continued to lie to avoid returning the money.”

Good riddance to grifting heretics.

‘Bling Bishop’ Who was Robbed During Church Livestream Found GUILTY of Fraud, Extortion

The prosperity preacher who was robbed at gunpoint during a live-streamed service and relieved of reported $400,000 in watches, rings, and chains had been found guilty of “two counts of wire fraud, one count of attempted wire fraud, one count of attempted extortion, and one count of making false statements to federal law enforcement agents,” according to a press release by the Southern District of New York’s Attorney’s Office.

Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead founded Brooklyn-based Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries, a false church if ever there was one. His ministry was registered as a for-profit business in 2014, and the church denies the Trinity. His website’s statement of faith reads, “There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” I.e., the dude is a rank heretic, and everything about his pastorate and church is decrepit and false.

His guilty conviction does not stem from his being robbed at gunpoint but rather a series of frauds he perpetrated to further this lavish lifestyle and stock his “prayer closet.” The release notes:

First, WHITEHEAD induced one of his parishioners to invest approximately $90,000 of her retirement savings with him by promising to use the money to help her buy a home.  He then spent the money on luxury goods and other personal expenses and, when she demanded to be paid back, he continued to lie to avoid returning the money.

Second, WHITEHEAD extorted a businessman for $5,000, then attempted to convince the same businessman to lend him $500,000 and give him a stake in certain real estate transactions in return for favorable actions from the Mayor of New York City, even though WHITEHEAD knew he could not obtain the favors he promised.

Third, WHITEHEAD submitted a fraudulent application for a $250,000 business loan, including doctored bank statements that falsely claimed WHITEHEAD had millions of dollars in the bank and hundreds of thousands of dollars in monthly revenue.

Finally, when speaking with Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) agents who were executing a search warrant outside WHITEHEAD’s mansion in New Jersey, WHITEHEAD falsely claimed that he had no cellphones other than the phone he was carrying when, in fact, WHITEHEAD had and regularly used a second cellphone, which was inside his house at the time.

The first three counts carry a maximum of twenty years in prison, and the latter a maximum of five.

‘Bling Pastor’ Robbed on Livestream Arrested for Fraud and False Statements

The prosperity preacher who was robbed at gunpoint during a live-streamed service and relieved of an estimated $400,000 in watches, rings, and chains and then later showed off his massive ‘Prayer Closet’ likewise decked out in filthy lucre, has been arrested by Federal agents and charged with fraud, extortion, and making false statements.

The crooked pastor was indicted for defrauding a congregant from her life savings, an estimated $90,000 that he then allegedly spent on luxury clothes and watches. If found guilty, he faces 20 years in prison.

He was released on a $500,000 bond. Whitehead’s lawyer told the NY Daily News:

We are vigorously going to defend these accusations…we feel that he is being targeted, and he is being turned from a victim into a villain. Now, everyone was wrong about Bishop Lamor Whitehead setting up the robbery at the church. People were arrested. He had nothing to do with that. This all stems out of a civil lawsuit that is being handled in civil court and he will be vindicated.”

Pastor Robbed of $400k in Jewelry Shows Off “Prayer Closet’ Full of Designer Clothes, Shoes, Diamonds

The prosperity preacher who was robbed at gunpoint during a live-streamed service an relieved of an estimated $400,000 in watches, rings and chains has now showed off his massive ‘Prayer Closet’ and it’s likewise decked out in filthy lucre.

Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead is the founder of Brooklyn-based Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries, a false church if ever there was one. His ministry was registered as a for-profit business in 2014 and the church denies the Trinity, with his website’s statement of faith reading “There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.” Ie, the dude is a rank heretic and everything about his pastorate and church is decrepit and false.

During a live-stream video, the ‘Bishop of Bling’ showed off a massive room he describes as his ‘prayer closet.’ A prayer closet is a term used in some denominations to refer to a literal sectioned off room of the house where all the praying happens. Based on Mathew 6 “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you ” Got Questions notes that “The Greek used here for “room” is tameion, which means “an inner storage chamber or a secret room.”

In the Bishop’s case, his prayer closet is an enormous room, full of designer clothing, jewelry, unopened boxes staged for the camera, as well as his ‘priestly robes, He brags: “you name it, Gucci, Louis (Vutton), Fendi…you name it… when you walk into my shoe closet, every designer wear, designer wear for days.”

It’s enough to make even Steven Furtick and Michael Todd jealous.
