Church Of Anglican ‘Exploring’ Gender-Neutral God

For decades the deplorable Anglican denomination has been drifting on issues of theology and human sexuality, proving time and time again the 26 million members are not the least bit committed to upholding the biblical teachings, but instead adopting the worst excesses of the woke movement in a pathetic and desperate attempt at relevancy.

Led by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, who is an all-around simpish and effete hireling, the Church of England long ago abandoned all biblical fidelity to the scriptures on the matter. Not only are they in full communion with many openly pro-choice and pro-LGBTQ denominations, but two years ago, the Anglican Church invited all their openly gay Bishops who had same-sex partners and ‘spouses’ to their 2020 Lambeth Conference. 

Now, because they are lost in downgrade, compromise, and the fiery expectation of judgment, they’ve begun the process of appealing to people who wish to speak about and reference God in a “non-gendered way” in order to be more inclusive. They would stop referring to God as “He” and other masculine terms. According to reports:

Amid heated debate on this issue, a vicar from southern England on Monday asked the vice chairman of the church’s Liturgical Commission, the Rev. Michael Ipgrave, whether he could “provide an update on the steps being taken to develop more inclusive language … to provide more options for those who wish to use authorized liturgy and speak of God in a non-gendered way, particularly in authorized absolutions where many of the prayers offered for use refer to God using male pronouns.”

Ipsgrave answered that the Liturgical Commission has “been exploring the use of gendered language in relation to God for several years, in collaboration with the Faith and Order Commission” and announced the initiative to study it further.

It is unclear how they would pray the Lord’s Prayer in Mathew 6: ‘Our Father, who art in heaven…

A church spokesperson likewise offered: “Christians have recognized since ancient times that God is neither male nor female, yet the variety of ways of addressing and describing God found in scripture has not always been reflected in our worship.”

The fact that they’re going to study the issue, or explore the issue, is a sure sign that they’re already too far gone and will certainly adopt the issue eventually- it’s only a manner of time.

Bethel Pastor Claims Adam is ‘Procreating With God’ and ‘Co-Creating’ When Naming the Animals

Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. — Genesis 2: 19-20 (ESV)

With men like discernment minister Mike Winger affirming that he would freely fellowship with the Bethelites and that ‘real prophecy and real healing are coming out of this group,” we continue a brief series on Vallotton, such as this clip from 2018, where he claims that when Adam named the animals, he was “procreating” and co-creating” with God- and that we can do the same thing.

And God begins to create creatures that Adam names. Now you can imagine that this was probably a long process because there’s a lot of creatures, right? A couple of things I want to point out here. Did you notice that by the sixth day, God stopped talking? Like God did not speak the creatures into being, he did not speak Adam into being. He literally molded them from dirt. I’m simply saying that sometimes when God’s silent, he’s doing his best work.

And so, God begins to form creatures from the dirt, and he passes them by Adam. And I’d like to suggest to you that when Adam’s calling the creatures names, that he’s not calling them ‘Spot’ ‘Fefe’ and ‘Trigger’.

And that literally, and the connotation in the Hebrew is that Adam is calling them names. He is actually procreating with God. He’s actually prophesying your divine destiny, and it says, ‘and whatever Adam called them, that was their name’.

In other words… let’s say that Adam sees the creature that God has formed and Adam goes “Lion.” And when Adam says “Lion”, suddenly that creature takes on the dynamics of a lion. Are you with me? Adam is co-creating with God. God was silent, so therefore it gave room for Adam to speak.

It gets worse. This is not the first time he’s said he’s talked about ‘procreating with God’. He preached at a business convention in the Netherlands in 2018 that Adam was procreating and co-creating with God, and we can too:

You’re running around like, “I don’t know why bad things keep happening to me — you’re not sitting in your proper seat. You’ve relegated your seat to someone else. When we pray for healing and bad circumstances, we are praying in reaction to something that went wrong. But how many understand that when we are living from heaven towards earth? ” Jesus said to the Apostle John — come up here and I will show you what must take place after these things.

How many know if you live from your heavenly seat, your heavenly seat gives you an eternal perspective so that you see things not as they are, but as they should be. Then your prayers become prophecies and your words become worlds. So no longer am I always in reaction to what has already happened, but now I am living in response to God’s word and I begin to procreate with God.

And instead of always being like ‘hey this person’s sick/hey this bad circumstance has happened’, God goes, ‘hey this is how I want the next 50 years to go.’ And I begin to pray and prophesy into that, and I am not just praying to God but actually praying with God. I’m actually procreating with God. I become an heir — a co-reigner with God.”

…. When we are called to be ministers for God, one of the ways we do that is we create by speaking for God. ‘Earnestly desire the spiritual gifts but especially that you prophesy.’ Why especially prophecy and why does the devil hate it when we prophesy? Because you are co-creating with God. When Adam named the animals he was prophetically declaring their DNA.

When he said “lion,” the characteristics of the lion were now on that creature. Adam wasn’t just naming the animals — he was defining them. I am simply saying that part of what we get to do with God is we get to sit with Him, listen to what God thinks about something that isn’t, and call it as if it were.”

God’s Audible Voice Caught on Camera Giving Charismatic Pastor “Keys of David”

The prosperity gospel and the excess of the charismatic movement have devastated Nigeria, where heresy and every sort of weird and aberrant practice run wild with abandon. Look no further than Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the prophet and founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Nigeria.

Fufeyin specializes in dream interpretation and prophetic training, and claims that he acquired a ‘heavenly master keys’ which is used to unlock prosperity, breakthrough, and success in people’s life. He’s selling these keys for 100,000 Naira, or about $240, which is about a month’s salary for many people in the country.

It’s not the first time he’s hocked something he allegedly acquired form the Lord. Currently, he’s offering several interesting wares on his website, including this spray, which guarantees the birth of a child in a country plagued by high infant mortality rates.

In a video that has since been deleted after reviving a ton of backlash, Fufeyin features himself receiving the keys after a long and earnest prayer, capturing the voice of God. There is some question over whether or not this is a mere dramatization, though given his history and the hijinks he’s pulled over the last 20 years we doubt it. Because the video is gone we can’t verify if this is its true intent, (though why would you delete it if it was a mere reenactment) it remains a small possibility.

God’s voice sounds…underwhelming, to say the least, but the fact that this heretic is running around and being taken seriously is a damning indictment against a theology that is ripe for abuse.

Bethel Leader Bill Johnson Denies Scripture – ‘God Doesn’t Control Everything’

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:29-31 KJV)

Bethel Church’s newly launched YouTube Web series titled “Rediscover Bethel,” which features an in-depth Q&A that addresses some of their beliefs and distinctives, has already paid dividends, as Bill Johnson and his associate pastor talk shop about whether or not God is in control of everything, concluding that he is not.

In contrast to that, we would say that not only has God numbered the very hairs on our head, but he controls every movement they will ever make throughout their lifetime, so that a breeze cannot shift a single hair a tenth of a micron to the right without the Lord knowing about it and ordaining it to happen. There is not one stray atom in the universe for God. If this is not true, He is not God.

For Bethel? They find the notion laughable and unpalatable in the extreme. In their view, sometimes things just happen, and God has no control over them.

Q: Does he control everything? Is he in charge of everything, but doesn’t control everything? What are some of the ways you think about that and understand scripture?

Johnson: My understanding in this area creates the greatest challenges for me…my approach is that God doesn’t control everything.

He’s in charge of everything. And the way I’d illustrate is well, you’re a parent, or you’re in charge of your household, but you’re not in control of everything that happens, you know?

Some dish will break. Something will happen. Somebody will say something that was unkind. Those things aren’t because of your influence. They just happen because you have a household of free will.

So that’s my approach, is that God is absolutely sovereign and that he’s in charge of everything. But I don’t credit him with Hitler. I don’t credit him with the disasters that take place in the earth. I don’t look at these and go, “Well, this is the plan of God who’s devised wickedness so that his glory could be seen.”

For me, that’s absolute nonsense.

So I look at his, at his sovereignty seen, in that he’s written you and me into a sovereign plan. For example, God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God is not willing. So is it God’s will for people to perish? No. Are they perishing? Yes. Why? Because there’s a [sic] wiggle room in there somewhere, where we have some measure of influence on the outcome.

This eventually prompts Dann Farrelly, Bethel’s Associate Pastor and Dean of Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry, to chime in:

And I think that’s the worldview of Scripture, you see a lot of powerful decision-makers in the angelic and demonic realm, as well as the human realm. And in the Lord’s sovereignty, sometimes I’ll say it to the students. “He’s so sovereign, he’s decided to be in control of what he wants to be and not in control the things he doesn’t want to be.”

Godless: Biden Leaves Out Reference to God in His National Day of Prayer Pronouncement

(Montana Daily Gazette) Who are we supposed to be praying to, again? What is prayer, exactly? When Democrats attempt to appear vaguely interested in religion, it’s always untheological and done with a heart marked by insincereity and clout chasing. Joe Biden’s recent call for a National Day of Prayer (a presidential tradition), he failed to mention, you know…God and stuff.

Probably being reminded of the tradition by one of his staffers, after being reminded what day of the week it was, that he was president, and that he should wear pants when he leaves the West Wing, Biden issued the cringe-worthy proclamation…

“I invite the citizens of our Nation to give thanks, in accordance with their own faiths and consciences, for our many freedoms and blessings, and I join all people of faith in prayers for spiritual guidance, mercy, and protection,

To whom? To whom are we praying?

Earlier this week, The Most Rev. Salvatore J. Cordileone, Archbishop of San Francisco, issued a pastoral letter stating that after all attempts to convince President Biden not to rip babies out of the womb and scalp them for medical experiments, he should be denied Holy Communion. Cordileone’s suggestion that Biden be denied Communion will probably be rejected by Pope Francis, who is only nominally Catholic but aggressively Marxist.

Despite being a Papist belonging to a church that still, kinda sorta, expresses belief in some kind of diety (for now), Biden seems to have forgotten the three-letter name for the Christian deity, G-O-D.

In fact, the only time a reference to deity is made at all is in the dating of the letter, which refers to the 2021st Year of our Lord, which is how Western Civilization tells time.

Given that the Democratic Party’s platform is a checklist of ways to violate the Ten Commandments, it’s unsurprising that Biden didn’t want to mention the Almighty. Abortion is a violation of the Sixth Commandment (murder), homosexuality is a violation of the Seventh Commandment (sexual sin), socialism is a violation of the Eighth Commandment (theft), “transgenderism” is a violation of the Ninth Commandment (lying), and class warfare is a violation of the Tenth Commandment (coveting).

In contact, Trump mentioned God nine times in his last National Day of Prayer pronouncement.

Professing ‘Christian’ DMX Dead at 50

Music legend DMX (Earl Simon) has passed away at the age of 50. DMX suffered a heart attack (some report a drug overdose) last week and was transported to a hospital in White Plains, New York, where he has been in a vegetative state since, in a coma and breathing with the help of a ventilator.

DMX is one of the most commercially successful rappers of the late 1990s and early 2000s, with a huge influence over the rap and hip-hop community, even though his popularity waned over the last decade.

One common theme in his life and career is his faith. DMX claimed to become a Christian in 2009, after being led to the Lord in prison. He became deacon in his church and publicly stated for years that he wished to be a pastor. He claims to read the bible every day and to have read through it three times in its entirety. Last year he lead a bible study to 15,000 fans on Instagram and has continually referred back to his belief in God in the midst of his battles and sin over the last 10 years.

And sin he has. Aside from the four children he shares with his ex-wife, DMX has another 11 children he has fathered with other women. Though many were born prior to his professed conversion, he routinely cheated on his wife and got other women pregnant after his profession of faith and prior to his divorce. Of note in 2016, DMX and his longtime girlfriend Desiree Lindstrom, welcomed a son Exodus Simmons.

Lindstrom and DMX later became engaged, but have been living together in sexual sin ever since they met, unrepentant and unbothered by the arrangement. Fittingly, he has a tattoo of Exodus 1:7 on his neck, which says “And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.” (KJV)

For years DMX has battled addiction and substance abuse, almost dying of a drug overdose in 2016 and entering rehab several times since. He never stopped performing his music with expletive lyrics and curses on a regular basis. His public allusions to his faith are very vague and are theologically suspect, saying things like, “God saved me,” and “I have faith,” without professing an explicit gospel message. He spent a year in prison for tax evasion in 2018, and has scarcely had a moment of peace throughout his rocky turbulent life, leading one to wonder whether it can be said he bore any actual fruit.

While progressive Christians and the wokefolk will certainly canonize him as a saint and dear brother, a life marked by unrepentant sin despite a mouth that claims Christ should give no one assurance of his salvation.

Desiring God and TGC Author Renounces His Faith, Says He’s in The Best Place of His Life

(Reformation Charlotte) Apostasy is one of the most tragic phenomenons of Christianity. It never ceases to amaze how someone can live such a lie for such a long time only to end up renouncing their faith. Time after time, popular Christian figures have renounced their faith over the centuries–but it appears to be picking up at breakneck speed.

Several popular and prominent Christian figures have renounced their Christianity over the last couple of years including the former editor of Christianity Today, Mark Galli, popular Hillsong musician, Marty Sampson, and purity culture pastor, Josh Harris, among many others.

Now, another prominent Christian figure has renounced his faith–a former Desiring God writer and the author of the book, The Trauma of Doctrine, Paul Maxwell.

Maxwell made his announcement on his Instagram feed earlier today.

Dem Leader Says the Quiet Part Out Loud ‘…God’s Will is No Concern of this Congress.’

A prominent Democrat said the quiet part ‘out loud’ during a hearing in the house on the monstrous Equality Act when he responded to another member quoting scripture in defense of the biblical roles or men and women that “God’s will is no concern of this Congress.”

Quoting scripture that says ‘A woman must not wear men’s clothing nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this’, Republican congressman Greg Steube explained that God designed sex and gender a certain way, and that those who seek to overthrow that design are being rebellious to God’s will, which will ultimately result in judgment from God.

“It’s not clothing or personal style that offends God, but rather the use of one’s appearance to act out or take on a sexual identity different from the one biologically assigned by God at birth. In his wisdom, God intentionally made each individual uniquely either male or female.

When men or women claim to be able to choose their own identity, they’re making a statement that God did not know what he was doing when he created them. I’m going to quote directly from Dr. Tony Evan’s commentary bible on this passage of scripture.

‘Men and women equally share in bearing the image of God, but he has designed them to be distinct from and complementary toward one another. The gender confusion that exists in our culture today is a clear rejection of God’s good design. Whenever a nation’s laws reflect the standards of God, that nation is in rebellion against him, and will inevitably bear the consequences.

And I think we are seeing the consequences of rejecting God here in our country today, and this bill speaks directly against what is laid out in scripture, our government, through this bill, is going to redesign what a woman is, and what a man is. It can be anyone, who identifies in that gender…”

The claims by Represantative Stuebe ultimately prompted Democratic Representative Jerry Nadler, the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee to respond:

Mr. Steube, what any religious tradition describes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress.

Clearly.

‘God Herself.’ Rep. Eric Swalwell Calls God a Woman While Discussing Impeachment Failure

(Daily Wire) Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) implied God is a woman during a Saturday interview on MSNBC about the recent impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump.

Speaking with host Nicole Wallace about Democrats’ decision not to subpoena witnesses, Swalwell said, “The choice was, do we chase those people, not knowing what they’re going to say, to the courts for years or do we go forward with the powerful, thundering case that we have? And also knowing that Mitch McConnell was already telling us that he believed the challenge was a jurisdictional one.”

“So we could have called God herself, and the Republicans weren’t going to be willing to convict, so we’re proud of the case we have put forward,” Swalwell…

Trump Re-enacts Dialogue God had with him about Job Creation. ‘Ok God. I Agree. You got me’

President Trump re-enacted a dialogue he had with the Lord this afternoon while standing in front of Air Force One during a press conference, saying that God spoke to him and acknowledged what a great job he did at growing the economy. He further stated that the Almighty challenged him again to do it once more in the midst of an economic recession caused by the novel coronavirus, in remarks that were likely, hopefully, tongue in cheek.

President Trump said:

What we achieve together, and what we’re together is nothing short of an economic miracle, and now we’re doing it again.

We did it. We built the greatest economy in the history of the world, and now I have to do it again.

ou know what that is? That’s right. That’s God testing me. He said ‘you know, you did it once’ and I said ‘Did I do a great job God? I’m the only one that can do it.’

He said ‘That you shouldn’t say, now we’re going to have you do it again.’ I said ‘Ok, I agree. You got me.’

But I did it once, and I’m doing it again. and you see the kind of numbers we’re up, they’re unbelievable. Best job numbers ever.
