‘Enemies Within the Church’ Film Gets a Premiere and Release Date!

The long-awaited film Enemies Within the Church has been given a premiere and release date, with both happening on November 2, 2021, according to promotional invites sent out and posted to social media. The film is notable in that, among other reasons, it is one of the few entities brave enough to acknowledge that they use JD Hall and Protestia/ Pulpit & Pen as a source for research, and will be giving us due credit.

According to the official synopsis

“Enemies Within: The Church is an educational, historical, and evidence-based movie experience that provokes a passionate return to orthodox Christian faithfulness across the western world…Specifically, the movie encourages the Church to cleanse itself from contamination imposed by cultural Marxism and a heretical teaching known as “The Social Justice Gospel.” By hearing the exchanges between the movie’s host and experts interviewed around the world, viewers are provided with a bright light shining upon truths formerly hidden behind the white noise of shallow pop-culture..The movie elucidates the fact that every single problem faced by western civilization is, ultimately, a theological problem, and every solution to every problem is a theological absolute. It answers the question: “What happened to living, powerful, transformative, nation-shaking Christianity?

You can check out the trailer below, and see that it is the sort of thing that is right up our alley.

The film was initially planned to be released a couple of years ago, but COVID, being community funded, and the rapid growth in wokeness and the impact on culture has necessitated it being delayed. This is notwithstanding that they released two mini documentaries in the interim; one exposing Albert Mohler’s Role in Allowing CRT to Flourish and another on the Scandalous ‘First Baptist Church Naples’ Story

For anyone wanting to attend the premiere, which will be a black-tie event in Sioux City, Iowa, you can get the details here.

For anyone else wanting to donate to this film in order to cover still needed expenses, such as marketing to spread the message far and wide, can do so here and click on the “donate” button.

Mini-Doc ‘Woke SBC’ Exposes Alber Mohler’s Role in Allowing CRT to Flourish

‘Enemies Within the Church‘ who recently rereleased their documentary on the scandalous shenanigans that went down in 2019 at a now-prominent Southern Baptist Church (SBC) megachurch, where a failed pastoral search led to scurrilous accusations of racism and sin against dissenting members, has released a teaser/ promo of sorts documenting wokeness and a capitulation to Critical Race Theory within the Southern Baptist Convention.

Judd Saul, Director of EWTC, explains:

After conducting 3 years of interviews and research for our upcoming film Enemies Within The Church, we decided to put together a compilation and excerpts from interviews and footage that we have acquired during our research. We feel that this content was too important to sit on given the current climate within the Southern Baptist Convention.

This is a must-watch for anyone wanting any sense of the direction the SBC is heading, and features many of the characters we frequently rag on here at Protestia, showing the depths of their deception.

Movie Launch! Documentary of the Scandalous ‘First Baptist Church Naples’ Story is Out

Enemies within the Church has released their documentary about the scandalous shenanigans that went down in 2019 at a now-prominent Southern Baptist Church (SBC) megachurch, where a failed pastoral search led to scurrilous accusations of racism and sin on part of dissenting members made national headlines.

We covered the story extensively at the time, and anyone wanting a ton of articles and primary sources can check out the Pulpit & Pen archives, but as a bit of a primer, an SBC megachurch in Florida needed a new pastor after Senior Pastor Hayes Wicker announced he was stepping down. After a time the pastoral search committee sought to bring on Marcus Hayes on board. Congregants had some questions about and concerns about what they viewed as Hayes’ progressive beliefs and ultimately he wasn’t voted in, receiving only 81% of the vote that requires an 85% threshold.

This caused the leadership of FBC Naples blow their top and to. go. off. Because Hayes is a “POC,” they got up on stage and declared that the reason he was rejected was that the congregation’s members were all racists. They released a public letter and lamented the congregant’s prejudice, announcing that anyone who voted against likely did it because he has black skin and they have a black heart and as a result there would be hell to pay.

And there was.

After the dust settled. 700 people left the church and nearly 20 families were formally excommunicated, including some that had been there decades, without ever having provided proof of their charges.

The President of the SBC, J.D. “Hold-my-beer” Greear did as he is wont to do: ignorantly going off half-cocked without knowing what the heck he was talking about and concurred with the accusation of racism despite no evidence.

There’s much more than that, of course. There is so much double-crossing and backstabbing and kind of sin is not even heard of among unbelievers. And this film by “Enemies Within the Church” documents it all.

You can watch the trailer below, and then the full length movie after that.
