With the progressive organization believing that “that abortion should be legal, regulated and accessible”, Swanson preaches a sermon to congregants upset over the removal of federal abortion rights, telling folk that the church at the highest levels of leadership feels their pain and urging them to channel their fury into fuel for the battle against pro-lifers ahead.

I want to start by saying directly to those of you gathered here and those of you watching online today who are angry or afraid for yourselves or for your daughters or your granddaughters or who feel betrayed by the Supreme Court. I see you. I hear you, and I stand with you. Your church stands with you. Your rage is holy, and that will provide much-needed fuel for the struggle ahead. The religious ideology behind Friday’s Supreme Court decision is not the Christianity I have committed my life to, nor is it the faith we claim in this church.

He concludes:

Following Jesus will be difficult and lonely, it is urgent, it will demand our undivided attention…As we live into this new legal framework, we can respond to and minister in the current situation, for instance, by ministering to individuals who seek abortions…and advocating for state laws that provide legal, safe and affordable abortions and against legislation that would outlaw abortion in all circumstances.

[Elizabeth Eaton, the ELCA’s head bishop] acknowledges that this is a daunting assignment. It will require more from us than most of us have been willing to give in the past. It’s going to be messy, and hard and uncomfortable. Today, I hear Jesus challenging the assumption that following Him to Jerusalem and bodying His love and justice and confronting the powers, is work that we can do at our convenience.“

The prosperity preacher who was robbed at gunpoint during a live-streamed service an relieved of an estimated $400,000 in watches, rings and chains has now showed off his massive ‘Prayer Closet’ and it’s likewise decked out in filthy lucre.

Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead is the founder of Brooklyn-based Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries, a false church if ever there was one. During a live-stream video, the ‘Bishop of Bling’ showed off a massive room he describes as his ‘prayer closet.’ A prayer closet is a term used in some denominations to refer to a literal sectioned off room of the house where all the praying happens. Based on Mathew 6 “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you ” Got Questions notes that “The Greek used here for “room” is tameion, which means “an inner storage chamber or a secret room.”

In the Bishop’s case, his prayer closet is an enormous room, full of designer clothing, jewelry, unopened boxes staged for the camera, as well as his ‘priestly robes, He brags: “you name it, Gucci, Louis (Vutton), Fendi…you name it… when you walk into my shoe closet, every designer wear, designer wear for days.”

It’s enough to make even Steven Furtick and Michael Todd jealous.

First Transgendered Bishop (A ‘They’) Asked to Step Down by Leader of the Denomination

One year ago Rev. Megan Rohrer was over the moon. She just made history after being appointed to California’s Sierra Pacific Synod by the spiritually decrepit Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), who elected her to rule over them as Bishop continued, making her the first transgendered bishop to lead the mainline protestant denomination.

Prior to this, the denomination’s official position was gay and lesbian pastors could serve in the pastorate but had to take vows of celibacy.

Megan quickly rose through the queer ranks, becoming Pastor of a church in San Franciso in 2014, becoming a chaplain to the San Franciso Police department in 2017, and now elected Bishop of a damned denomination, populated by a vast herd of goats and a few clusters of remnant sheep.

But if you live by the wokeness, you die by the wokeness, as the head the ELCA The Rev. Elizabeth A. Eaton has asked for her resignation over an incident that happened within her synod, claiming that Rohrer’s act of firing Nelson Rabell-González’of the Misión Latina Luterana community on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe after he was accused of abusing a fellow ‘pastor’ through ‘misogyny, disrespect, and threatening comments‘ and ’embezzling monies from the California Immigrant Relief Fund’ to be racist, and to stop his anti-racism work.

In regards to the controversery, Eaten issued a statement on the denomiation’s official page:

While I am not inaugurating formal disciplinary processes at this time, there remain enough serious concerns that influence Bishop Rohrer’s ability to remain impactful in their role that I have asked Bishop Rohrer for their resignation, which I believe to be in the best interest of all parties involved.

…”I believe that Bishop Rohrer has lost the trust and confidence of many constituents, both within and without the Sierra Pacific Synod. I have asked Bishop Rohrer to attend their assembly, speak and listen to their constituents, and give this the prayerful consideration it deserves after which I will expect their response.

Eaten says as a result of Rohrer’s actions, she will be implementing several recommendations, including:

Plan ongoing anti-racism training for the churchwide staff and the Conference of Bishops, as well as all rostered ministers within this church.

Launch a similar program focused on cultural sensitivity training.

Promote the work of the churchwide organization related to racial justice, diversity and inclusion—including that of our Executive for People and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Rohrer for her part doesn’t seem keen on leaving and it is unclear whether she will comply, retweeting messages in support of her.

Lutheran Denomination Becomes First to Elect Transgendered Bishop

In continued acts of demonic rebellion, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) has elected their first transgendered bishop to lead the mainline protestant denomination, continuing to demonstrate they have no fear of God and no sense of the Lord’s impending wrath towards them.

On Saturday, California’s Sierra Pacific Synod elected Rev. Megan Rohrer to rule over them as Bishop. This woman, who refuses to use female pronouns and instead insists on identifying as “they/them” and even the occasional “he,” was one of the first LGBTQ “pastors” to become reinstated into the ELCA after they voted in 2010 to allow clergy in “committed relationships” to lead churches.

She has written a few queer books, is married to a woman, and has a few kids.
