Baptist Charity Executive Who Moonlit as Erotica Author Arrested After New Book Deemed ‘Child Porn’
A marketing executive at a Christian charity has been arrested and charged with disseminating child sex abuse material after police received multiple tips that her newest book contains graphic depictions of pedophilia.
When Lauren Tesolin-Mastrosa, 33, wasn’t working at BaptistCare, a “leading not-for-profit Christian-based care organization” that cares for elderly people in NSW, she was writing smut under the pen name ‘Tori Woods.’
Things blew up for her after readers gained access to advance copies of her latest book, Daddy’s Little Toy, which is a…very loose… retelling of the Cinderella story, and were horrified at the content. According to the Daily Telegraph:
Readers who received advance copies of the book for review allege the fictional title explicitly refers to the male main character having a relationship with his best friend’s adult daughter, and making graphic references to fantasizing about her since she was aged just three.
As a result, the Australian Federal Police and the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation received multiple complaints about her. They executed a search warrant of her home and seized several copies of her books, resulting in her arrest.
A New South Wales Police spokesperson revealed she was charged with “possessing child abuse material, disseminating child abuse material, and producing child abuse material.”
Tesolin-Mastrosa has deactivated all her social media accounts, and her book has been removed from online vendors. Before deleting her Instagram, she lamented that the whole thing was a “huge misunderstanding” before insisting:
DLT is definitely not promoting or inciting anything ever to do with (child sexual abuse) or pedophilia. What is being said is grossly disturbing and breaks my heart as well as makes me sick”
