Pro-Choice Pastor Calls Her Abortion Experience ‘Holy,’ Says It Made Her Feel ‘Loved By God’
Kaeley McEvoy is the Fellowship Program Director & Staff Chaplain of Sojourners, the demonic entity founded by Jim Wallis and which now promulgates every sort of aberrant teaching unless the sun, particularly when it comes to LGBTQ issues, abortion, and sexual moral relativism.
Educated at Union Theological Seminary in New York City, which is widely considered one of the most progressive seminaries in the world, McEvoy became ordained in the United Church of Christ where she spent half a decade on staff at the Westmoreland Congregation UCC, first as the Director of Congregational Life and Faith Formation and later as the Associate pastor.
A WaPo feature from 2022 recounts her pro-choice experience of getting pregnant by her boyfriend while at seminary:
When the pastor and her then-boyfriend learned in 2016 that she was pregnant, the first place they went was to a cathedral, to pray — and to call doctors’ offices in search of one to do the abortion. Other visitors to the cathedral happened to try to enter the small chapel where McEvoy was on the phone, but her boyfriend turned them away, she remembers, saying, “Something holy is happening here.”
Several years later, she ‘preached a sermon’ where she dismissed Psalm 139’s historical interpretation of the personhood of an unborn baby and the sacredness of life, sharing:
The declaration of God knitting life in a woman’s womb is used frequently to manipulate a narrative of reproduction which omits abortion as a sacred decision. The misinterpretation of this psalm has caused harm and invoked shame on an immeasurable number of women.
Rather, she insists, “I personally have never felt more known and heard and loved by God than when I entered the doors of a Planned Parenthood.”

I’ve read sickening claims by women who’ve murdered their children who insist that they are not ashamed of doing that, that they are proud of doing that, that they would do that again, etc. Now, I’ve read one where a seriously-deluded woman claims that dismembering her child was holy. That delibera, tely planning and slaughtering her child made her feel loved by the very God Who prohibits that kind of sin. Now, I’ve heard it all. America has gone from “It’s not a moral good, but it should be legal in extreme situations”, to “I shout my abortion” to “My abortion was a holy experience and sinning against God made me feel loved by Him”. I quit. There is NO way on earth God will continue to bless a nation that thumbs its nose at Him. The curse in Isaiah 5:20, upon those who do this kind of moral reversal, comes to mind.
