Christian News Host Announces She’s Pulling Show From Embattled Daystar Over Network’s ‘Ethical Deficits’

Recent scandals at Daystar have impacted the programming line-up. Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson announced that she is pulling her show ‘Laura-Lynn Live at the Eagle’s Nest’ from the embattled television network due to “ethical deficits.”

Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson is the former co-host of The 700 Club Canada and author of Relentless Redemption. According to her Daystar profile, her show is a “daily online broadcast, bringing attention to current news and politics,” where she is “known as one of the most courageous women speaking out against the leftist agenda and woke culture.” She announced yesterday on her show:

It is with great sadness and personal angst that we are going to give notice to Daystar Canada that we will be removing our show from their Network as per our contract.

With grave fear of the Lord and due to what we perceive to be numerous ethical deficits and most importantly, the failure of senior Executives and in this case, parents, to properly align with their son and daughter-in-law who had sincere rational and earnest concerns that their child had been molested by af amily member.

We have watched all the videos, read every statement, and every article written. I have personally consulted with my board and those whose discernment I deeply trust. We are in unanimous agreement that there is a deep crack in the foundation of Dayar and we are unable to build on it.”

Last week, Jonathan and his wife Suzy made public allegations to The Roys Report that Joni Lamb and Daystar tried covering up their daughter’s sexual abuse at the hands of a male relative. They say not only did Joni encourage them not to go to the police, but she even defended the perpetrator and made justifications of why he couldn’t possibly have done it, even going so far as to suggest that she prayed to God and that God told her the alleged molester was innocent.

Furthermore, Suzy has alleged that she was sexually assaulted in 2017 by a chiropractor who worked for the family in the Network’s green room. After telling Marcus and Joni, Marcus paid off the chiropractor, and Joni reportedly told her not to tell anyone about it because they needed to protect the company’s reputation.

Daystar has forcefully denied the allegations, declaring that the two are engaged in a “smear campaign against them” and that this is just retaliation from Jonathan for being passed over for the position of network president.
