Drug Regulatory Agency Issues Warning Over Televangelist’s ‘Miracle and Healing Water’

Nigeria’s drug regulatory agency has come out swinging against popular grifting televangelist Jeremiah Fufeyin, issuing a warning to the public against purchasing his ‘Miracle and Healing Water’

The head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Nigeria, Fufeyin specializes in dream interpretation and prophetic training, and claims that he acquired a ‘heavenly master keys’ which is used to unlock prosperity, breakthrough, and success in people’s life. He’s selling these keys for 100,000 Naira, or about $240, which is about a month’s salary for many people in the country. According to Premiere Christian News:

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) highlighted that products like “miracle water” and “River Jordan water,” marketed with claims of possessing “bogus” healing abilities, including curing infertility in women, lack NAFDAC’s endorsement.

In response to these allegations, Mr Fufeyin’s Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry said it complied with the law and was using “spiritual items” as an expression of faith. Nigerian law permits freedom of religion without governmental intrusion.

Of course, we consider this man a rank heretic and his ‘ministry’ a devil’s plaything, but in our research, we came across his store, that had, among other things, a water spray that guarantees the birth of a child in a country plagued by high infant mortality rates. It wasn’t even being sold for cost, but rather for 20$ USD, which would translate to over $200 in that country with the exchange rate and economic conditions, ensuring the prophet gets paid if you don’t want your baby to die.

Unfortunately, hocking these silly wares is extremely common in these sorts of circles, these prosperity-preaching hucksters and frauds, and here are a few examples of some of the most bizarre.
