Hulk Hogan Gets Baptized ‘The Greatest Day of my Life’
Wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan announced his recent baptism, going under the water and declaring, “Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!”
Hogan, 70, was baptized at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida and was accompanied by his wife, Sky Daily Hogan. Hogan has long claimed to be a Christian, sharing in April 2023 that he became saved when he was 14 years old.
He has talked about his faith over the years, with some references going as far back as 2010, though this is apparently the first time he was baptized.
Notably, is that despite his confession of faith from an early age, Hogan has had a messy personal life, divorcing his first wife Linda in 2007 amid infidelity accusations, divorcing his second wife Jennifer in 2022, and now recently married to his third wife Sky, just a few months ago.
In 2012, a sex-tape of Hogan was released by Gawker, showing him fornicating with another man’s wife. Hogan subsequently sued Gawker and was awarded millions of dollars, resulting in the company’s dissolution.
Great for him. Hogan isn’t the first believer to backslide and then return to the Lord (ask me how I know).
Hmmmmm, 56 years of backsliding? I think 1John would have something to say about that. Now I pray that this is a genuine Born Again rebirth. Time will tell.
