Woke Church Communion Service: ‘If the World had Remembered Jesus’ body was broken, Tyre Nichols Would Not have Happened’

Jamal Bryant, a left-wing goat of a pastor and serial adulterer, is known for his leftist political antics and having Very Bad Things come out of his ‘church.’ When the Supreme court recently overturned Roe v. Wade, Bryant decried the decision to allow states to restrict abortion as “racist” in a baby dedication Sunday sermon, claiming that eliminating abortion would somehow increase the black infant mortality rate by 30%. Two months ago, he said he wanted to grow cannabis on his church property so that black males could farm it, using it as an evangelistic tool and a way to teach them a skill.

Bryant is a simple political idealogue who cosplays as a Senior pastor every Sunday morning at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which is quite an ironic name for a church that is pro-abortion and preaches the twisted false gospel of Liberation theology. The church’s website doesn’t contain any substantive Gospel-based statement of faith but a social justice-based statement on community organizing and development.

It’s no surprise then to hear them indulge in a startling Black Lives Matter-inspired communion service, making the elements about police brutality and falsely teaching that Jesus suffered so that we don’t have to suffer, even though Jesus promised in Matthew 24:9 that “They will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”

Jesus says plainly, ‘this is my body, which has been broken for you. Do this frequently and remember me.’ It’s important that in a world like ours, we frequently recognize that his body has been broken for us. His body was broken- translation- so that our bodies don’t become unnecessarily broken.

If the world had remembered his body was broken, Freddie Gray wouldn’t have happened in Baltimore. Trayvon Martin wouldn’t have happened in Florida. George Floyd wouldn’t have happened in Mississippi, and Tyre Nichols would not have happened in Memphis.

We do this frequently because His body was broken so our bodies do not have to be.

  1. Just when you think some of these pretend churches could not possibly get more worldly and idiotic, they always do. Pathetic.
