RZIM Apologist Sends Stunning Letter: Says Ministry Has Lost Trust & Needs to Make “Meaningful Reparations”

(Roys Report) An apologist with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) has sent a stunning letter to top RZIM leaders, stating that the ministry has lost trust “internally and externally” because of its handling of recent scandals involving its founder.

The letter also urges RZIM to apologize publicly and make “meaningful reparations” to Ravi Zacharias’ alleged victims should a third-party investigation confirm their allegations. The letter also urges RZIM to rebrand and to overhaul the ministry’s culture.  

The author of the five-page letter is Dr. Max Baker-Hytch, a senior tutor with RZIM’s  The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA) and a lecturer at Wycliffe Hall, a private hall of the University of Oxford.

Baker-Hytch sent the letter to nine top RZIM leaders on Wednesday, and it was leaked to The Roys Report yesterday by an anonymous RZIM employee.

  1. RZ should have been disciplined when he lied about his credentials. Maybe if someone had him face consequences at that point we would not be at this point. Nothing was done until RZ became a crisis. The Christian swamp loves a crisis it seems. Christian organizations are not proactive.

    I think it is time to shut this organization down. It is a case study on how not to run a ministry. The board and leadership did everything wrong. They ran it like a corporation and still are running it like a corporation. Insiders are showing us all that they thought lay Christians are dumb and gullible. They were laughing about us behind the RZIM logo. Time to shut it down. Other ministries that are run according to Scripture will pick up the slack. RZIM can give their assets to ministries that deal with abuse or trafficking.
